Elisabeth Bard

Elisabeth Bard studied fine art and photography at Hiram College in Hiram, Ohio. After initially working in the field for several years, she left to raise her family. She then returned to the art field as a graphic artist and has 20 years experience working as a designer and illustrator. During that period she had extensive experience working with and selecting images for publication. She has returned to photography during the past several years and has plans to make this the main focus of her creative endeavors. Landscapes, doors, windows and floral images are her main love along with more abstract images.

Elisabeth is a member of the Photographic Society of Delaware and has exhibited locally, including Tower Hill School and Chester County Community Art Center as well as Cecil County Art Association, where she won First Place for color in 2002 and 2004. She has also received an award for Excellence in Fine Art from the New Hope Arts Festival as well as first place awards at Havre De Grace and Bel Air Art Festivals. She has acceptances into Philips Mill Photography Shows and The Sketch Club of Philadelphia. She has exhibited her paintings and photographs at the North Wilmington Library, The Wilmington Library, Newark Arts Alliance and in Pottstown. She is a member of several arts organizations in the area as well as the new photographic discussion group, Art Lane PCG.
